Air slide Fabrics are used to transport solids with a high flow rate over long distances. Air slides provide an efficient, low energy system with minimum maintenance. They are available with multiple inlets and multiple outlets by use of integrated segment valves.

Applications of Air Slide Fabrics

Suita Air Slide Fabrics are textile cloth fabrics and are used in air slides referred to as aero slides, aeration pads, fluxes channels fluid or arms for pneumatic conveying of fine dry products like cements and other raw materials. The weave structure of filter media helps to regulate the air flow as the structure of weave with predetermined limits of porosity permits only a specific volume of air to permeate at a desired water gauge pressure through the air slide fabrics. Accordingly a loose medium or dense weave structure used in the airsides result in air flow being low medium or high as desired. The selection of yarns also contribute to accurate uniform air permeability thus our filter fabrics are woven specially out of 100% natural cotton or 100% synthetic materials like polyamide, polyester etc as required for the specific air slides.

Suita Air slide Fabrics are available in three varieties :
a) Polyester based airslide fabrics : The filter fabrics are solid woven with filament polyester and offers the following characteristics
1. Constant air permeability
2. High abrasion resistance
3. High tensile strength in warp & weft
4. High resistance to wear & degradation
5. Readily cut heat scalable so ease in fitting
6. Resistance to decay and rot prevents the formation of bacteria and fungus

b) Polyamide or Nylon based air slide fabrics : These fabrics are solid woven with nylon which having the following characteristics This Air permeable fabrics is used for pneumatic conveyors of bulk materials. It is an indispensable part of cement plant, chemical industry, metallurgical industry, dense phase systems, air/fluid slides bulk cement tank trucks, ship and fixed cement tanks.

c) Cotton based Air Slide Fabrics : Cotton is used in both warp and weft in these solid woven cloth fabrics and have the following characteristics :
1. It absorbs humidity hence moisture free applications are recommended
2. It is self cleansing it can be silicon-to suit specific requirement
3. Good for the conveyance of non-abrasive or mild abrasive-materials
